Intro to Big Game Hunting

OPEN ENROLLMENT
Ever wanted to go hunting but weren’t sure where to start?

Join Jake Saenz, Director of Training for Rhythm Outdoors and an experienced big game hunter based in Central Colorado, for an evening dedicated to breaking down everything you need to know to plan and execute your first hunt.

This informational seminar is designed for aspiring hunters but is equally valuable for experienced outdoorsmen looking to expand into new species, regions, or hunting styles. We’ll cover opportunities close to home, including Texas whitetail, hogs, and exotics, as well as western big game pursuits such as elk, mule deer, antelope, and more.

Topics will include:

  • Different types of hunting and hunting styles
  • Seasons, tags, and regulations
  • Rifle, bow, and muzzleloader opportunities
  • Shot placement and ethical harvests
  • Planning your first hunt
  • Essential gear and equipment
  • Field dressing and meat care
  • Butchering and processing game

Most importantly, this is an opportunity to ask questions, hear real-world experiences, and learn from someone who spends a significant amount of time pursuing game in the field. We’ll be keeping things informal with cold beer, good conversation, and plenty of hunting stories along the way.

Learn the process. Build your confidence. Start your hunting journey.
